I just moved down from New Jersey in October. I have experience installing air conditioning and heating systems that do not include heat pumps. I am interested in learning how to work on these type of systems but cannot financially afford to take a course that starts from the ground up. Is there a course or a place you can suggest I can learn how to work on the types of systems that are usually found in Florida? I would also like to be able to get certified for HVAC also. thank you for your help.

Good article.

I agree that the best HVAC training is through hands-on experience. Another great way to receive HVAC training is through a trade school that specializes in HVAC, or offers an HVAC training program. You can receive a lot of hands-on training, while learning some detailed facts in the classroom.
